OnePlus 7 receiving Android 10 update ahead of Samsung Galaxy Note 10

OnePlus was recently asked to terminate the rollout of the Android 10 and instead return to a development studio after customers claimed it brought more issues than a magazine in the early 2000s. Now, it has begun the rollout called OxygenOS 10.0.1 to the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro, bringing them at par with the OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro.

The OxygenOS 10.0.1 packs heavy with all the features of the 10.0 release, and boasts of a redesigned user interface. It now allows users to block messages containing certain words and many Ambient Display options along with the bug fixing from the last update.

Here is what the OxygenOS 10.0.1 includes:

System

  • Android 10
  • New UI Design
  • Location permissions enhanced
  • Customizable settings for icons shapes to display in Quick Settings
  • Bug fixing

Full Screen Gestures

  • Inward swipes from left or right edges to go back
